ABOUT
Mireia has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Media. She has contributed as a colorist and editor in projects such as I TU M’EXPLIQUES (2023), created in the Clúster Audiovisual de Catalunya's framework. Additionally, she has used her skills as a designer and editor in the ongoing NO ME LLAMES CHINITA activism project. Recently, her internet-inspired video-essay ME MIRABAS (2024) was projected at the 2024 MIFDB and the 2025 BAMS, and won the URV special award in the video creation competition "Posthumanamente Hablando". Her latest contribution as an editor and graphic designer was for the short film CATTLE BOYS (2024).
Passionate about graphic design and everything related to the postproduction of the visual arts, her editing style tends to maximalism and is heavily inspired by all things cyber, experimental and futuristic.

ACHIEVEMENTS
2024ā
Public screening at the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones in Barcelona of the visual essay ME MIRABAS (on the Internet, identity and home), selected under the call among universities Reorganizar la cinefilia.
In 2024, ME MIRABAS also won the URV special award in the 1st international video creation competition "Posthumanamente Hablando". It was awarded with a public screening at Mèdol - Centre d'Arts Contemporànies de Tarragona (2024) and another at the Santiago de Chile Biennial of Media Arts (2025).

Public screening of the music video I TU M'EXPLIQUES. Produced in the Pacte del Talent framework, belonging to the Clúster Audiovisual de Catalunya. The music video can be found on the YouTube channel of the Clúster Audiovisual de Catalunya and was added to the catalog of the Caixafòrum+ streaming platform in 2024.
